Transmission smoke meters can be used to measure exhaust smoke opacity from diesel vehicles and engines. They continuously sample and test visible pollutants in the exhaust, directly obtaining measurement results. The display instrument features a large LCD screen with menu prompts for easy operation, and can print measurement data and graphical curves. Connecting a speed sensor allows for the display and uploading of enginespeed data.
